20 Easy Homeschool Snack Ideas Your Kids Will Enjoy
Homeschooling allows you more flexibility with snack options for your kids. Every snack doesn't have to check the box of being lunch-box approved. Rarely do we have single-serve snacks at home — often it's a platter with options to grab, enough to go around! This list is far from exhaustive. Yes, our kids snack just as much as yours! 🙃

I didn't put anything time-consuming on this list — ain't no one got time for that when you're homeschooling multiple kids, doing the breakfast dishes, making sure you know what's for dinner, moving the laundry over, and, oh yeah, being the teacher!
There's a mix of homemade and store-bought options, realistic for most families.
Without further ado! The snacks that made the cut:

Apple slices and cinnamon or caramel
Veggies and ranch
Sourdough toast with butter
Homemade muffins (hopefully pulled from your freezer stash after making a big batch for breakfast!)
Popcorn (we pop ours in a glass bowl with a silicone lid in the microwave)
Pickles, store-bought or homemade
Fruit salad
Cheese and grapes
Kettle chips
Tortilla chips and salsa or bean dip
Rice cakes with peanut butter and honey, or peanut butter and bananas
Azure fruit bites — these are so yummy they feel like a treat, and they're only dried fruit, no flavorings or anything else.
Unique pretzels — I love that there aren't any weird ingredients added to these, plus they're super yummy!
NOW Foods sesame sticks (we like the Cajun ones — they're a little spicy for young kids, though. I personally love these as part of homemade trail mix.)
Fruit leather (we also love to make this homemade by cooking and milling fruit + drying it in the oven)
Bagels with cream cheese
Plantain chips (for some reason these feel slightly healthier to me than other chips — might be all in my head, but we do enjoy them!)
Granola, either with milk and raisins, or spooned over plain yogurt mixed with blueberries and honey or vanilla extract
At our house, many of these options can morph into lunch. The bigger our kids get, the heartier their "snacks" become. I find often these days a big snack is still followed by a meal. Part of growing big boys! I sympathize with any mom of boys who doesn't enjoy cooking. It feels like half the job description! 🙃
