Fall Drizzling Caramel (No Refined Sugar!)

1 min read

Fall is the perfect time for caramel. Caramel apples, caramel popcorn, pumpkin caramel bread... you name it! This is my go-to drizzling caramel, and it works for caramel corn and caramel apples, as well as a frosting-style drizzle on baked goods. It's refined sugar free, comes together in one pot, and has the perfect texture every time.

Ingredients

1/2 stick butter (4 tablespoons)

1 cup honey

1/2 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

1. Add the butter, honey, and heavy cream to a saucepan over medium to medium-high heat.

2. Bring to a boil, stirring often, until the caramel thickens and coats the back of a spoon, about 15 to 20 minutes.

3. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla.

4. Let cool slightly, then drizzle over caramel apples, popcorn, or your favorite fall treat.
