A Place of Comfort and The Comforter
We're still working on this page, excuse our mess! :) We're glad you're here.

We wish you could join us on our couch.
We would have coffee, or tea if that's your jam, and I would listen. You have a story and it matters.
My Great-Grandma called it a Davenport. My mother-in-law calls it a sofa. We call it a couch. Whatever you call it, you're welcome on ours.
A timeless place of comfort where real life happens, valuable conversations are had, and people are heard.
The Great Comforter
I wish painful stories weren't a part of every generation, but they are.
We've lived through a few on our own. Every generation has these stories. We read about them in Scripture. We see Jesus care and meet the hurting right where they were through His ministry. He promised to send us the Comforter, the Holy Spirit and He is faithful to fulfill that promise for all who ask.
I wish I could have you sit in our home. We would listen, and encourage. But I want to be honest with you — we're not what you need. Jesus is. Everything here is just us trying to point you to Him.
A place you can come when your world is falling apart. A place where we can help you move from sitting in the dark crying to looking at the Light of the World and allowing God's Word to illuminate the next step you need to take.
We haven't walked through all of these stories ourselves, but we've walked alongside ladies who have. We know it hurts — there's so much to do and consider. Take a moment to rest in Jesus. Nothing you're enduring is a surprise to Him. He doesn't cause pain; He endured the ultimate pain to take sin upon Himself so we can have eternity to look forward to. For the here and now, He'll help you through.
Whatever brought you here — I'm glad you came. Stay as long as you need.

The Day She Came Over
There's one day, and one friend, that I can point to as the beginning of this.
I realized when she came over that we didn't have the resources that hurting people need. Our house was a mess, complete with a kitchen remodel half finished, a wall half painted, and a whole lot of dust. But we had her come anyway, and I'm so glad we did.
You don't need a structured Bible study when your life is falling apart, you're crying your eyes out, and you're wondering what next week will look like. You need Jesus to meet you right there in the puddle of tears, and He will. With total and complete confidence, friend — He will.
