Cathy Duffy's Review of That It May Go Well Homeschool Curriculum: What to Know Before You Choose

Choosing homeschool curriculum can feel really overwhelming. We've been there ourselves as parents.
As a new homeschool mom, one of the first resources I found for sorting the vast number of homeschool curriculums was Cathy Duffy. Her no-nonsense reviews cut through some of the layers of choosing curriculum.

When you're first tasked with choosing curriculum it's exciting and overwhelming all at once. There will almost certainly be growing pains as you learn to homeschool. Some curriculums will work for your family for the duration, others will never make it into your children's hands.
It's ok to be picky. If you've made the decision to homeschool, you care. A lot. Enough to take what is perhaps the more difficult route for the well-being of your children. We all come at homeschooling from a different angle and your "why" might not be the same as mine, but if you're homeschooling, considering homeschooling, and contemplating curriculum, you're invested enough that you likely have a preference.
Homeschool curriculum truly can make or break your homeschool experience. What works for year one might not work for subsequent years. Homeschool burnout is a real thing, and curriculum that doesn't jive with you, your kids, or your family is a sure path to burnout before the first semester is through.
We don't want you to hate your homeschool curriculum. 😀 That It May Go Well is what works for us, and it's been a blessing to many other homeschool families.
We're honored that Cathy Duffy reviewed That It May Go Well Christian Homeschool Curriculum. We're thankful that as you decide if TMGW is a good fit for your family, you can have an unbiased, expert voice to consider in your decision. Curriculum reviews can be a very useful tool in making a sincerely important decision. You can read her full review here.
We're also abundantly thankful for real moms who take time to share about their experience using TMGW. If you're interested in seeing a video flip-through of Cycle 2 from our Original Homeschool Curriculum for K-5th grade, you can watch it here.
There's really no substitute for hearing about curriculum (or really anything else) first hand. We encourage you to talk to homeschool moms in your area, ask like-minded Facebook groups for feedback, and ultimately pray. As followers of Jesus and creators of Bible-based curriculum, we believe the Lord is your ultimate best source of all wisdom. Ask Him to help guide you in making the decision about the curriculum for your homeschool year!

And, if you use and love TMGW, we would be honored if you tell a friend and share with your community. You can officially join our Ambassador program, simply text a link to our homeschool curriculum hub page, or jump on a homeschool Facebook group and share there.
From one homeschool mom to another, happy homeschooling, and may you not hate your curriculum before the year is over!
