Teaching about the human body from a Christian, Creation-based perspective is natural for followers of Jesus. We understand that we didnāt evolve into the highly impressive state of function our bodies display; rather, we were created exactly this way by an all-powerful and loving God.
We were made to glorify God through our bodies and to live for Him! Whether you are looking for a simple afternoon activity or a full science curriculum unit, our goal is to help your children move past simple facts and into a place of wonder at how intentionally they were designed.

Hands-On Learning: The "Heart of the Matter" Activity
One of the best ways to teach anatomy is to get hands-on. This low-mess felt activity is a great way to introduce younger children to the complex design of the heart.
Supplies:
Felt (multiple colors)
Scissors
Paper and pen (optional for labeling)
Instructions:
Cut & Layer: Use a diagram of the heart as a guide to cut the different chambers and vessels out of felt.
Identify: As you assemble the heart, identify the different parts.
Challenge Older Kids: Have older children write the names of the parts (like the Aorta or Left Ventricle) on small slips of paper to label their felt model.

Want more? This is just a glimpse! Our Human Body Unit Study and our Online Program include several more hands-on activities that follow the order of the Days of Creation.
A Flexible Science Curriculum for the Whole Family
Finding a science resource that works for a house full of different ages can be a challenge. We designed our Human Anatomy Unit Study to be a "buy once, use forever" resource that grows with your family.
Multi-Age Reach: One single purchase provides resources tailored for Preschool through 8th grade.
Ultimate Flexibility: Use it as a standalone unit, disperse it throughout your school year, or pair it alongside the That It May Go Well Christian Homeschool Curriculum.
Depth for All: Even if you only have kids in one age range, youāll find plenty of depth through detailed diagrams and engaging worksheets.

A Note About "Christian Sex Ed"
As our children grow, the "Human Body" conversation naturally shifts toward the reproductive system and sexuality. I semi-cringe to even use the phrase "Sex Ed," as this topic feels less like "education" and more like a deeply personal conversation.
As a parent of preteens myself, I understand the "You have to do it!" / "No! You have to do it!" conversation. My husband and I have been there! I didnāt add this portion to the unit study as an educator who has it all figured out; I added it as a mom facing the reality of explaining these truths to my own children.
We provide a tactful, Christian perspective on these topics because they matter. We want to help you lead these conversations so you don't have to "ship your kids off" to be taught worldly views on sex and gender.
